Hi, I’m D’Arcy and this is my blog about my broken heart.
Seriously.
But not in that emo way. I mean, give me SOME credit here. I created this to write about my upcoming septal myectomy surgery, and the subsequent recovery. However it will probably end up being mostly about what Netflix show I’m currently binging on.
You may be saying, “But aren’t you the girl that normally writes about cats that look Ronda Rousey or Serena Williams’ latest karaoke attempt?” Yes, that’s me. But, unless the medication is really strong, I don’t think I’ll be doing much of that here.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or if you’re going through a similar experience. I’ll have a lot of time on my hands, so I would love to hear from you.
April 15 mitral valve surgery. Asymptomatic until April 16th (yes, after). Released on April 20th. Lots of trouble breathing, but I have been a hell of a lot luckier than you.
And if you are on very appropriate painkillers, you won’t be writing bizarre stuff. You might have energy to think about it though.
